Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I gradually find that the true spirit of traveling to me is not about the geographical tourist attraction but the people you met with, you should live through their life to experience the country understand their culture. Couchsurfing provides me a platform to know those people who are also keen to have a deeper connection with the world

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked 26 km from 3 pm to 3 am through jungle, desert, barbed wires to see an active volcano, standing on the rim of the crater gazing at the abyss and lava ( for my third trekking experience in my lifetime I was not so fit )

The next day stuck in a volcano ash storm while hitchhiking, carrying my suitcase over my head trekking for one hour through ash plain and river. I might be the first suitcaser walking through ash plain in a ash storm

Probably working and then holiday in Vanuatu as my first foreign country out of China at 22 is my most crazy and correct decision, as a city girl in Shanghai it’s definitely the most mind blowing and life changing adventurous decision to me. It made me realize I can decide my life myself and give it a total new definition. When I went totally out of my comfort zone, I got to know what freedom is.
