About Me

I'm recently graduated student from Washington State, USA on a working holiday in Ireland. I have been in Ireland since the end of July 2018 and am staying until April, taking trips to other countries in Europe in the meantime. I studied cultural anthropology in university and love culture, language, mythology, folklore, storytelling, and traditions

I enjoy going out for walks, bicycling and exploring my surroundings, embroidery and sewing, reading, writing, cooking. I love visiting museums, going to events and thrift shopping!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to travel in a different way - to make new friends and meet locals in places I travel, and to hopefully have mutually beneficial and enjoyable exchanges. I really appreciate when people are willing to open their homes to me as a quest and think that it's a really special thing.

I'm looking for hosts in Florence, and Bern in March 2019 for a trip still in the early stages of planning.
