I'm putting my degrees to the test as I travel the continental US and the southern edges of Canada. When I'm not doing music, I like to go for walks/hikes, try new things, and read. I love to travel and experience new cultures (including microcosms of culture, such as region, state, city, or family). I think one of the best ways to do that is to connect with people and hear their personal stories. Plus, new friends everywhere you go!

Almost anything acoustic I'm going to like, though I really appreciate listening to every type of music, because I think I can pull different aspects from all genres into making my own music.

MOVIES
I love a good plot with believable characters who experience growth. Genres aren't a big deal to me.
BOOKS
I love inspiration books and anything that makes me ask questions about life. The Alchemist, Ishmael, The Art Of Asking, and the Hitchhiker's Guide set are a few of my favorites.

TEACH
I can give you a guitar lesson or a music theory lesson. I can also teach you how to read tarot cards or lead you on a metaphoric walk (sort of an introspective meditation).

LEARN
I want to learn about anything and everything I can. If you can cook, or are learning to cook, let's do it!

SHARE
I've seen a lot of the United States and come to the realization that there's a lot of parallels between places. Cities are urban, the country is rural, and the suburbs are somewhere in between. What makes the places special are the people. The people are the life-blood of any place. They are the important part. With Couchsurfing its easier to connect to them all.

How does a live house concert sound? Invite your friends and we'll make an event out of it! If you've got a favorite song/artist, I can even learn some covers for the show. Or, if you want to learn guitar, I can give you a few lessons and some resources to keep playing! I can also offer an amateur tarot reading, a reiki session (I'm level 1/3), or a cooked meal. Whatever we do, let's swap stories!
