Overview
About Me
I am an excited and grateful person. I want to grow, learn, share and be inspired. I am very interested in large scale social change through a lens of permaculture. I love the earth, I have a deep appreciation that extends infinitely. I love to meet new people, I love culture from as many perspectives as I can place myself into. I am creating a food forest where I live in Michigan. A site that hosts the educational development for regenerative design and implementation, skill sharing, and a creative hub.
I love to play music, I enjoy nearly all varieties and most particularly music of other cultures. I love art of all types. I am a glass sculptor and painter. I hope I get a chance to meet you! Best wishes :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am traveling through Thailand to land in Chiang Mai in order to study thai massage for 5 weeks. I am looking to meet new people, make friends and create connections. I also am interested in being exposed to the culture rather than removed by means of a hotel or hostel. I want to meet the people, share and learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I participated in the organization and implementation of a new form of expression. It was a project that a musician had created, "The Polish Ambassador." The project was called the permaculture action day. Through the city of Kalamazoo, a poverty stricken largely developed city in southern Michigan, we used the local land bank to acquire a piece of property to do a 6 acre instillation of a public food forest. I helped source the plants through donations and visiting nurseries and helped create a design. The Polish Ambassador held a concert the night before the project. This generated a lot of energy and excitement. He used this to help promote a project that directly benefits the community supporting his national music tour. The next day we installed over 200 fruit trees and supporting species alongside a bike path adjacent the river. We had over 50 volunteers that participated and it was a great success for all involved. I was humbled by the experience.
