Hello! My name is Skyler, and I'm a 23 year old guy originally from the States (Nashville, TN). I've been traveling for the past three years, and spend almost all of my time abroad! I'm a videographer/photographer, and love to explore the beauty of foreign countries.

I'm mainly here to meet new people! One of my favorite parts of travel is the people that we meet along the way. Couchsurfing seems to have a great community of like-minded people, and I'd love to explore together with new friends!

Well, I'm currently a videographer/photographer, so that takes up most of my time.

Some other things I'm into include aviation (would love to become a pilot), music (I sing and play guitar and piano), and language learning!

Well, I've been traveling for 4 years now, but I love the feeling of being in over my head somewhere, or even lost to a degree. One of my favorite moments was the first time I traveled to Turkey. I had a one-day layover in Istanbul, and I remember having absolutely no clue how to get around. The day ended with taking a ferry over the Bosphorus Strait at night in a storm. I remember standing on the front of the ferry drinking tea, stunned at how I even got into such a wild place in life. It's moments like that where we realize how beautiful life is, and how privileged we are to be alive!
