Due to the documenta 14 here in Kassel, I am receiving a lot, lot of requests - I apologize if I can´t always stay on top of responding to each of them, especially requests on short notice. Also, I will prioritize requests from foreigners over those from Germans, as I believe they have a more difficult time finding/affording a place to sleep and navigate in a foreign land.

ABOUT ME

I currently live in Kassel, which is in the very center of Germany.
I enjoy art, cats, and spicy food and a good sense of humor.
I´m an illustrator & graphic designer, and I also make and sell prints of my art at various comic-conventions in Europe - which might be why I´ve requested to stay at your place...!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met some awesome hosts during my roadtrip through the states, they helped me more than I could have ever wished for, far beyond supplying a sleeping-opportunity!

Now I feel obliged to be as helpful to my guests as my hosts have been to me, and hope to carry this idea on :)

Interests

I love Art - I draw all day! Hence, I am an illustrator, comic-artist, designer, printer... but would also love to be 3D-artist, painter.... all at once. I can´t really decide what interests me most, ha....

I am mutually interested in both modern day pop-culture (comics, movies, videogames...) and historic culture (art, literature, architecture, mythology...). I like to go out on adventures and explore - especially places beyond the 'do not enter'-sign always attract me... >:D
The theater is also a passion of mine - either seeing a play or being on stage myself :)

I also love cooking and trying out new food - especially spicy food!

Music, Movies, and Books

It is hard to narrow it down to a genre, as almost every kind of music has its good and bad songs for me. Same goes for books and movies.
I do have a nostalgic thing for good ol´ 80´s songs and movies; they just don´t make ´em like they used to anymore....

As to books, I´m into Murakami, Irvine Welsh, Cormac McCarthy, Noah Gordon... as well as Victorian Age stuff like Oscar Wilde & friends :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

High-sea Kayaking on the St Lawrence Canal with whales under and around me. Pretty insane...!
