My views are fairly simple. Small government that spends wisely. While I do consider myself an independent, I do usually agree with the democrats. To me, the simple life is a great life!

I try to surf when I road trip and I've hosted a few times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used CS to find a place to crash when I'm away from home. I have a had very good experiences for the most part. I've hosted twice, and it went well.

Interests

Currently, I'm focusing on yoga. I've taught for 20+ years and I love learning more and more about yoga and Indian medicine and lifestyle.

I love geocaching. Most simply one uses a handheld GPS to find little containers all over the place. This has taken me to MANY interesting places all over the US, Canada and internationally.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have read the entire Harry Potter series. I've also read a handful of books on religion and philosophy. As for movies, I like action and comedies. As for TV, I'm addicted to reality shows.

As I wrote above, I'm studying yoga and Ayurveda.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen: Yellowstone National Park is awe inspiring.
Done: Skydiving (licensed 360+ jumps), zip line in Vancouver, BC (really loved it!). I really enjoy participatory activities, usually outdoors.

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing I have learned traveling all over this great land is to do it by car. I have visited 49 states/7 Providences, and I've seen a lot! Although it is human nature to desire to return to something known or familiar. For me, my little car was my world of commonality. The one thing that never changed. I loved it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have lived in the Las Vegas area for almost 10 years now. I can share info as I know it, it's a very popular tourist location and there is a lot to do! I live far enough away from tourist mayhem to live in a quiet neighborhood.
There is a lot to do in this part of the country too, AZ, UT and CA are very close.

I also can help you get around the area, either by driving myself or helping you with the public transportation system. The buses are really good in our city!
