I'm a laid back and open-minded guy, teaching English in South Korea for the last 4 years. I'm looking to meet some nice people while I'm abroad and make friends during my time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was initially on here to lend my apartment in Korea as a place for people to crash and stay for a short time, but now I'm here to meet people, make friends and maybe stay at peoples' places once every now and then.

Interests

Finding interesting, fun new people, going hiking where I can, finding places and people to play basketball with, going out to various bars/clubs that are more relaxed than loud, reading novels, exploring beautiful areas, and doing just about anything with interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Star Wars, David Lynch , Christopher Nolan, anything about North Korea, I absolutely love the Hyperion series of sci-fi novels, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one??
-Being in the Sahara Desert, sandboarding dunes and riding camels
-Being at the DMZ and technically being in North Korea as well as seeing "Propaganda Village"
-Seeing Cherry Blossoms in Ueno, Tokyo and the Imperial Gardens
-Boseong Tea Fields in Jeollanam-do, Korea
-The first time I walked around Japan and noticed how clean and beautiful the country is, seeing people rides bikes all around town.
-Going to Yanaka, Tokyo, a very traditional Japanese village in Tokyo.
