ABOUT ME

my name is Skylar, i'm 22 years old. i'm from florida but i had to get out of there. currently traveling around the west coast for now. people describe me as a free spirit and can not be tied down. i have a lot to say, but i can be soft spoken at times. i'm very respectful of everyone i meet. i have many best friends and i'm a very social person. but at the right times i enjoy the sound of silence. i can be shy sometimes, but that's rare. no matter how old i am, i'll always be young at heart. i hope to never lose my vivid imagination, it's what i love most about myself. i love painting pictures for all my friends and if you let me stay on your couch, i might paint you a picture.

do what you love and love what you do. don't let anyone hold you back. do what you feel like doing at any given time. don't let anyone kill your excitement, just because they don't think it's "cool." everyone perceives things differently. follow yourself, not others.

music is my favorite thing in the world. so many feelings and emotions can be expressed in music. or in any kind art, really. i have a very open mind when it comes to music. i enjoy listening to foreign music a lot along with playing foreign instruments.
