About Me

I'm 23yo and from the North East of England.

I think my desire for travel started aged three, when my parents moved myself and my brothers to Doha, Qatar. Since then I've spent time in Malaysia and Azerbaijan as well as various places in Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Something I've always found particularly interesting is "nightlife culture" and all the places in the world that are renowned for having a great party atmosphere (i.e. Dublin, Prague, Amsterdam etc).

So, after a successful stint writing about fashion and working in social media marketing, I've decided to turn my attention towards blogging about travelling to those places :)

I'd rather do that with someone who already knows a good few things about it so I'm hoping to come across any of you interested in helping on here.

Interests

Apart from experiencing new things, I love fashion, blogging, nights out, movies, beer, football and dancing. As a very open-minded individual, there's very little I can't turn my attention to and fall in love with!

Music, Movies, and Books

I can find a way to dance to anything but my favourite music remains as it was when I was 15: rock and metal with a daily dose of Pretty Reckless! As for movies, I'm a sucker for a good comedy but all of Quentin Tarantino's hits are amongst my favourites. And, when it comes to books, I've always loved anything by George Orwell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 10 weeks living on a golf course in a jungle in Malaysia. In this time I befriended two French children, saved one from drowning and managed to get a baby monitor lizard to adopt me as its mother (it literally followed me around for three days!).

Teach, Learn, Share

Between my travelling and education, I feel I've got a great understanding on a number of subjects from history to literature! Also, growing up in Newcastle, I'm very familiar with this area and its best haunts. I've always had a keen desire to learn though so I'm excited to find out what other travellers can teach me :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

As well as being polite, friendly and up for doing anything, I'm happy to help out with food, cooking and cleaning!
