About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy the world! Visit places, soak up culture, learn new things, get new perspectives and possibly learn new languages!
ABOUT ME
Ok, I'm still pretty new to couchsurfing - I've surfed a couple of couches and had nothing but good experiences...! Hopefully there are some great experiences and people to look forward to.
Currently I'm studying Music, Technology and Innovation at University in Leicester. I've just finished my first year. I write, play and produce music in my free time too - so most of my life seems to be taken up by music. I actually love music a crazy amount!
I'm an open minded chap, and can see the funny side of most things.
PHILOSOPHY
Well, the plan is to travel around a bit and then find out a bit more about myself. Hopefully that'll make this easier.

Movies -
I really love David Lynch's films... Mulholland Drive especially. I found an amazing cinema in Brussels which shows black and white silent films while someone plays piano.

Books -
I don't really read books. I read the Kurt Cobain Biography 'Heavier Than Heaven' and enjoyed that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've played some awesome concerts, which I've been extremely lucky to do!
I did the electronics as part of an orchestra for an opera once... It was absolutely brilliant!
I played a concert with Chris Carter from Throbbing Gristle too.
Other than that, I've been lucky enough to meet some of my favourite musicians - Adam Jones from Tool, Buzz Osborne from Fantomas and The Melvins, Nick Oliveri from Queens of the Stone Age and Mondo Generator, Mark Lanegan from Queens of the Stone Age, Screaming Trees and Gutter Twins...
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to play mandolin, guitar and bass, so that's something I could teach.
I would love to learn some other languages and brush up on my French... I'd love to be able to speak Icelandic and Russian. I would also love to learn to play any other musical instruments (especially sitar, violin and drums).
