ABOUT ME

We are a lesbian couple who love nature and animals.

Nikol: I am currently studying to get into graduate school, so I'm not very much fun. But I do enjoy hiking, reading, watching movies and such. I hate to say this, but I'm fairly "new" to Jacksonville in the way of not knowing very many people. I'm a work-a-holic so I bury myself in my research and rarely go out.

Kristi: I enjoy watching movies (thanks to Netflix and those free Monday and Wednesday Rentals at RedBox Rentals), helping people, going for long walks with the dogs. I'm pretty much up for anything.

We have 2 dogs (basset hound named Moe (12yrs old) and a Chow/Shepherd mix named Wrolea (nearly 2yrs old)) and 2 cats (both domestic shorthairs named Arnold (1 yr) and Adia (8yrs old)), all flea free.

If you are not ok with people being gay, we will have to ask you to please stay away. This is a safe house (apartment, rather).

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We participate by allowing people to surf our couch! We don't have much to offer but we'll offer what we have!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We can't wait to use this service! It would make a vacation that much more enjoyable! Being able to save money on hotels and more on the actual vacation part would be lovely!

Intereses

Nikol: I am interested in art, music, movies, nature, meeting new people and learning anything and everything I can.

Kristi: Movies, nature, sports (Go Steelers!), the beach, shark-tooth hunting.

Música, películas y libros

Nikol: Lately, I have been interested in science books (The Cobra Event, Biohazard) and fiction (The Celestine Prophesy, Harry Potter Books, etc). I enjoy all types of music from opera to bluegrass and back to alternative rock.

Kristi: I like all types of movies (even the weird ones Nikol picks out). As for music, I like rap, classic rock, even a little bit of country. Books are a different story. I like the idea of books, but it's difficult for me to actually read them. Lately, I've been digging real murder count books.

Nikol: I have went hang gliding with my sister Reychl. What an amazingly free experience!! Seeing the International Date Line was also a beautiful thing!

Kristi: There is this place in PA that I love to go hiking. It's one of those places where zen moments happen, and feeling that calm is the best thing.
