ABOUT ME

I'm tall, long-haired guy with good attitude to world and people. People say I'm friendly, open-minded and nice person; they also say I'm intelligent and interesting; one, with who you can talk about many curious (funny as well as serious) matters. Well, maybe they're right :)

I'm totally in love with programming, since I wrote my first program (with huge help of my brother) when I was 10. I'm also good at maths, in physics and astronomy not so much, but too. I also can and like singing. I used to play in theathre. I love reading fantasy/sci-fi books and watching movies. In comments you can read I can play guitar, but I deny it.

Currently I'm studying IT; finished 6th semester. I used to work also as a programmer, but I had to quit, cause I didn't have time for both studies and work.

In my free time I use my programming skills to write computer games - my passion since childhood. Unfortunately, I haven't been successful in writing completely even one single game - there are always some difficulties. But I'm trying hard! ;)

I also really love nature and mountains, as well as hiking in these mountains with tent and sleeping-bag, wandering from place to place.

And there is one more important thing about me to know - I'm a vegan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm living with my parents, so I'm currently not in position to couch anyone. I think I would like to, if I could. Some day I'll have my own apartement and then we'll see :)

Meanwhile I'm only surfing on other's couches, though I haven't been on a couch abroad - everything in Poland. I'm trying now my luck outside my country - and I'm positive about this experience! :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - everything written by Orson Scott Card, Robin Hobb, Frank Herbert (and his son). Generally speaking fantasy & sci-fi

Movies - it's hard to say, I don't have any special preferences. Just interesting movie.

Music - rock, mainly folk rock. Check Polish band Ankh, covers: with the same title "Ankh" from '93 and "Ziemia i Słońce" ("Earth and Sun") from '95. Also music from movies and computer games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Valley of Five Polish Lakes, in Tatra mountains, early autumn (september perhaps? I don't remember). Absolutely outstanding view. Bottom of the valley full of lakes and green mountain pine bushes, top full of white snow and craggy peaks sticking out of it.

Caves in Jura Krakowsko Częstochowska. I've been there with my buddies, but there were no any steel ladders or handrails. We had ropes and special equipment. It was perfect.
