ABOUT ME

I just finished university in Chicago, then decided to move to France for a year to teach English. I'm almost at the end of that year (and very sad about it) and am looking to travel as much as possible. I'm very open minded and love exploring new cultures, foods, and people. I love to read, watch movies, listen to music (the usual), and spend as much time as possible with friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It is possible for me to host while in Lille, but I travel a lot so try to let me know as far as possible in advance! I have 2 roommates, so come with an open mind. I also surf as much as possible whenever I travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Germany, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Norway, Denmark, Israel, and Croatia. I have loved every single experience. I have never hosted (when at home I live with my parents) but have always wanted to.

My first ever couchsurfing experience was in Berlin where my friend and I ended up staying with a bunch of Israelis. 3 years later, we found ourselves at Shabbat dinner with their entire extended family. Definitely an amazing experience and proof that CS friendships last a lifetime.

The most amazing thing I've seen was the waterfall at Plitvice National Park in Croatia. That or the entire city of Dubrovnik, Croatia. Or the Berlin Wall. Or Prague Castle, Mont St. Michel, Budapest baths, A-Ha in concert for free in London, mechanical elephant in Nantes, any place in New York, the lakefill in Chicago...
