About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stay in Bologna as much as possible :)

ABOUT ME

Myself, I think I am a typical engineer :) I try to make things easier in life and -besides that- try to explain the reasons for what is going on around me. Sometimes it is funny! Well, generally, I like learning things, no matter if this is a new language, how a new gadget works, about global economy or local poverty, or deep understanding of a fellow.
To be honest, I am not that boring, I have some interests too. I enjoy walking and spending time out-doors, I enjoy reading my book by the sea, preferably accompanied by a coffee or a mojito (depending on the mood and not on the time), spending time with good friends and getting to knowing them better and better over some pints, going to cinema on sunday evenings, mmm, of course, running as of endorphin addiction.
Plus, a good thing is that I enjoy my work, though I don't know for how long :D

PHILOSOPHY

Xixi, why do you live your life? According to Irvin Yalom, the lack of a profound answer to this question is one of the four main reasons that make the human psychology so fragile. Indeed, I reverse the question: I want to live my life. I am a follower of "Whatever doesn't kill you make you stronger" and "It is better to regret something you did, rather than something you didn't do". I actually want whenever I look back in my life to say: "Well done", and whenever I look in front: "The best are yet to come".

Interests

Environmental living, macroeconomics and economical systems, politics, international diplomacy, human psychology, sports, books, dancing :D
