ABOUT ME

I haven't seen Misha, our cat, in 6 months because my husband and I are in the middle of a year long honeymoon. It's fabulous. And even better to take this time after a ten years of working when I can appreciate it even more. Love each day from the most adventurous to the laziest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're just starting out. Our friends, who host, have be trying to get us to surf while on our year long trip. Time got away from us to set up a profile at the start of the trip but half way in, here we are... Hope to meet folks an surf soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Growing up I lived in Barbados until I was 7, my Mother and Sister worked for the airlines, which meant it was cheap for us to fly anywhere but we didn't have much money for hotels and the like. My Mother would make friends and the next thing you know a three day trip to Switzerland turned into a week staying with strangers. And two months later our new friends traveled all the way to Barbados to stay a month. 26 years later and we're still family friends. At least I know where I got the travel bug from!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. My best job while in university was being Princess Jasmine from Aladdin at Walt Disney World. I did that for three years and it was amazing.

2. My family is from a country most have never been to and many have never heard of: Guyana!

Teach, Learn, Share

I make a killer avacado bruchetta and lychee martini. I would like to learn how to like running, I hate it. I would also like to learn how to make puff pastry.
