About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find my zen

ABOUT ME

Curiosity and the attention span of a goldfish are probably my two main defining traits. As a traveller, I'm super low maintenance and very easy going. I like to get a real taste (literally, and otherwise) of every country I visit .

I can take a little while to start talking, but I can (and do) talk a lot once I get started. I used to think that I was pretty asocial, but I've discovered that my sociability is a function of my mood, the people I'm with and how much I've had to drink among many other factors. So meet me and let me know what you think!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to find the philosophy that fits my current state of existential angst.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Local CS meets are a great way to get an idea of the kind of people and energy that make each city unique, so I try to make it to atleast one in each city I visit.

Haven't hosted yet, but have surfed a couple of times with some people who've been great examples of the CS spirit.

Overall, it's been pretty uniformly awesome!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: Alt pop/rock

MOVIES: I'm more of a TV show binge watcher if I get around to watching things these days. The last three shows I've really loved are High Maintenance, Transparent and Broad City.

BOOKS: Don't read nearly enough these days. :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing is relative, I guess, but walking through waist deep snow to see the redwoods in California, hiking 3 kms barefoot through rice fields in Vietnam and watching Tame Impala while half passed out cause of the heat at Coachella are some things that come to mind.

Just having the means to travel the world is pretty damn amazing , imo. I'm very grateful for that.
