ABOUT ME

I was born and grown up in Western Germany. For 15 years I lived in Berlin, wich is one of the most exciting and conveniant places to live. Although I got a little curious about living abroad and see the rest of the world. Since 2008 I have been living in Zurich/Switzerland, Abu Dhabi/United Arab Emirates, Pittsburgh/USA and Sheffield/UK. Between projects I love to go take some time off and travel around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The CS project is about trust. Trusting foreign people needs an open mindset and a positive attitude versus life. This is what I appreciate being in this community and meeting other couchsurfers - either for a coffee or a couch.

Reading, music/concerts (classical and modern), playing guitar, cinema and movies, vintage cars, sailing, long distance running, skiing, foreign languages and cultures, travelling, going out meeting friends, good food and wine.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I visited a one week teaching of the Dalai Lama in Birhar/North India. In this place heaven and hell both are present like in no other place in the world. If you want to change your perspective about the world, happyness and the meaning of life, then go to this place.

Every nationality applies different rules and values to make the system work. There's no nationality better than another and therefore we can learn a lot from each other. Lets share our experiences, good surfing stories, seaman's tales and all we can learn from and laugh about.
