ABOUT ME

I'm a self-proclaimed geek (of science fiction, of technology, of epic academic nerdom) from Wisconsin but I've relocated to San Francisco to start a new way of life for myself.

I love TV, love to read. Love to write. I'm just as likely that I can ramble about Doctor Who and Torchwood (British television, yay!) as I will babble about Muslim feminists and Christian philosophers.

I'm addicted to soda, I voraciously read current news and I love to bike.

*surfed on Kaja, Chrigu and Coona's couch in Bern, Switzerland!

*met up with Navi in Berlin for lunch and great conversation!

*Surfed at Gabrielle's place in Aberdeen, Scotland in March 2008

*CS Underground in SF every Wednesday. Come to Cafe Royale for drinks and great conversation!

Music: Bad Religion, The Decemberists and Colin Meloy, Of Montreal and Architecture in Helsinki, Moxy Fruvous, The Mountain Goats, VNV Nation, Adema, The Sounds, The Smithereens, Pink, Linkin Park, Interpol, NoFX -- I just love a lot of music. Books: Ender's Game, Phillip Pullman for fantasy, CJ Cherryh's books, Poetry by John Keats, Anne Sexton, Louise Gluck.
