Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently doing more travel fantasizing than actual travel.
ABOUT ME
I'm a nurse with lots of interests; after a few years of nursing under my belt, I'm seeking creativity and balance in my life while in-between jobs. I enjoy being active, biking around Brooklyn, art/music/drawing, coffee, and meeting new people. I am content in most situations, happy to observe the environment around me.
PHILOSOPHY
I think it's important to be open-minded and to have respect for others. Although I live in NYC, I believe in comity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My friend Edward drove around the country and told me about the wonderful world of CS. CS = opportunities
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's been the best way for me to be less anonymous in a new place.
Interests
Outdoor adventures, people (the elderly), animals (cats), shadows, arts & crafts, thrift shopping, legumes, strawberry cream cheese on NY bagels, touristy stuff, sending postcards.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now I'm reading Welcome to the Monkey House by Kurt Vonnegut. I recently finished reading Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot. I like anything involving Steve Martin and most Woody Allen movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed the massive, slanted rock at Vasquez Park outside of L.A. Pretty cool!
