About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Weaseled my way off the grid so I can keep doing what I love; I've been traveling most of the past year so not currently hosting, but I have hosted in the past informally a lot and a lot on Airbnb as well when I had more space.
ABOUT ME
I'm very easily found in any Google search or on my website www.ThisNourished.com. Feel free to check it out!
PHILOSOPHY
Being present in the moment and responsible and responsive to those around me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed two times so far and it was totally awesome. My host had a beautiful colorful home near where I needed to get to for my meeting, a super awesome dog who was friendly and well-mannered and looked eerily like mine (eerie because she is very unusual looking), an awesome southern gourmet dinner brewing when I walked in her door after being lost and on the road for soooo many more hours than expected, on a school night, and full of fascinating and fun interests. We had so much in common!
Then I got to Couchsurf with my new friend, Ankeet, and it was beautiful city time! This time I was book-pitching at a convention. Can't wait to do it again!
Interests
Ummm, I cook, beach, hike, read, watch movies, listen to music. You know, the stuff people do when they are living large...

Music, Movies, and Books
Hmmm, I'm not by any stretch the best media'd person, but here goes. Run Lola Run, Tao Te Ching, James Blunt, Upside of Anger, Winnie the Pooh (triple threat), Citizen Lane, Donna Hughes, and Old 97's before their fall. Banjos and fiddles are fun, as are Elisa Romeo and Michael Beckwith.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The time I scaled Teotihuacan I was pretty impressed with myself, and with my new hiking shoes, although anyone who has ever done it knows it really just takes a good pair of shoes. It was sort of a dream to do that though, and I just preferred the idea of walking up the wall of a pyramid more than going up the steps of one, although anyone who has dealt with those narrow steps knows they are just as good a workout.
Pretty much my whole life is amazing, though, actually. I spent several months on walkabout and launching big biz stuff over the last few years, and all that gets pretty interesting.
Teach, Learn, Share
Um, well I'm more of a good friend, advisor when necessary for lack of a better word, and trying to integrate as many parts of my life as is organically possible.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am learned in a bunch of areas, which you are welcome to find in great detail in any social media online. I often cook for folks when I'm in their homes. Plant food. Generally some of the best food anyone's ever had, since I know how to use salt.
