I am super interested in food security, food access and living wage campaigns. I listen to NPR and drink coffee every morning.

When I am not trying to learn everything I can about fixing our broken food system, I love to travel. I have spent time in Central and South America, Europe, Canada and the Caribbean. I have also driven across the United States 3 times and drove to from California to Alaska twice. I really love Alaska. I also lived in California for 10 years and spent the last year studying in Vermont.

I also own a siberian husky named Layla...so do you like dogs?

I like to hike, do yoga, cook and ferment things. I enjoy reading and heavy discussions about the social construction of different cultures. I love building and contributing to communities. I love being outside. I love deli spreads with fancy cheese and chutneys. I also love a good movie or documentary from time to time. Ienjoy podcasts (especially ones with story telling) and biking. I occasionally go running, so if you are cool and want to do some of that, its a possibility. I love being an activist.
