About Me
Returning to Couchsurfing after nearly a decade, it's been both beautiful and surreal to see what remains at the core of you and what changes. No longer a 21 year old student, I'm now an indie publisher and library worker living in Glasgow, Scotland. I'm into zines, archives, storytelling and belonging, and the magic that happens when all four intersect. I'm still someone who hikes to hidden places, surfs (badly) in the sea, practices some yoga, dances to live music, nerds out on books and gets swept up in art in all its forms: performance, craft and everything in between. Add to that now, a newfound love of playing football and running, swimming in lochs, lakes, and rivers, tending to plants and sometimes, bambi-like attempts at rollerskating.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm hoping to leave the UK soon and so I'm starting the leaving process with some trips this year to see friends and family (activate working visas!) and get a sense of where I'd like to be. Couchsurfing is a real good way to get into the rhythm of a place. Hoping to get insider knowledge on lovely spots in different neighbourhoods and landscapes to go explore.

Music, Movies, and Books
I go through phases of listening to the same song or album over and over until I can't listen any more. But! I can always listen to Arlo Parks and Emahoy Tsege Mariam Gebru.
Some books on my shelf:
'Braiding Sweetgrass' by Robin Wall Kimmerer
'an/other pastoral' by Tjawangwa Dema
'Ponciá Vicêncio' by Conceição Evaristo
'Everyone Needs Beauty: In Search of the Nature Cure' by Samantha Walton
'Our Universe' by Jo Dunkley
'None of the Above' by Travis Alabanza
Movies
'Wild Relatives' by Jumana Manna is my favourite documentary of all time.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can make zines, cobble together a conversation in Spanish or Portuguese, and maybe do some headstands. I love breakfast - I always love to make and share breakfast with folks!
