ABOUT ME

We are fun young couple, and have been married for almost 5 years. We have a 16 month old son, Eli. We rent a 3 bedroom house on the beach with views of the Pacific Ocean and Diamond Head. Our house is somewhat secluded and far away from Honolulu (about 35 minute drive), so a rental car would be desired if you're staying here. The nearest public bus stop is about 3 miles away. We love to go hiking, explore new beaches, and experience all of the hidden gems that Oahu has to offer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We got aquainted with the couch surfing community on our 5 week long trip to Europe in 2009. We had an amazing time, and made great friends through couch surfing. We hope to continue meeting new people by hosting couch surfers in our home. We took a break from traveling and couch surfing for awhile after our son was born and then shortly after that we moved to Hawaii! Now that we're settled into our new home and our new roles of "mommy" and "daddy" we're excited to get more involved again with couchsurfing (and traveling in general)!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We LOVE trying local foods when we couch surf. We'd love to help you prepare a meal, and have you teach us some of the tradition dishes and your favorites from where you live. We also love cooking, and would be more than willing to cook a meal for you as well!

We like all types of music, but mostly listen to contemporary Christian music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We went skydiving a few years ago for Steph's birthday- a scary, but awesome experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

We love meeting new peope. We have been to Italy for our honeymoon. Chris had been to several places in Europe. We have both been to Mexico, and Steph has visited Ghana and Benin.
