ABOUT ME

French girl interested in travelling, foreign languages, aikido, history, geography...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Anne, a friend, told me about CS just before we started our trip to Asia, beginning with the transsiberian train... at the beginning she was a coachsurfer but me not. After my first surfing in Kazan I decided to join CS because this match the way I conceive travelling and meeting propre!
Now I moved to Matsumoto (Japan) with my baby and my Japanese husband. With my baby it's difficult to host for now but I will be glad to hang out for a walk or a drink!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couchsurfing experience in Kazan (Russia) with a very great host!

Interests

I like traveling. I've travelled for six months through Asia...
I'm an aikido-fan (I practice aikido for 15 years now, I think!).
I'm history and geography teacher and I've been teaching history and geography in German language for eight years to French students.
I like reading. I can spend hours in a library.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like dicovering what kind of music the people hear, but I'm not a music fan by myself.
I like fast all kind of movies!
French, german and japanese litterature are my favorite books. Some polars too, sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a geography teacher I normally have a great sense of orientation... but in Japan I was lost two times! Once, I just wanted to go by feet from one metro station to the next one... I had a lot of time so I thought, wy not... but I walked almost 3 hours, turn back, asked for my way... I had to come back to the first station and to take the subway as I never found the second station!

An other amazing thing happened to me on my first day ln the hainan island (China). My chinese friend there told me I could hike a mountain once for free as the university was looking for foreign people for a TV show. So she applied for me. At least we didn't had to hike but to run, and we were even paid for that! (200 yuans). And the most surprising, is that I even finished the tour as the 2nd one and so won a bike!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, China, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mongolia, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Russian Federation, Réunion, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom
