Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I more often offer couches to strangers in real life, than over internet. & if I havn't got space or time, I'll try helping in another way, or find another place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been working my way through middle Europe from couch to couch, squat to squat.
The nicest times are when people show me their favorite spots, & maybe, in a day or two, I'll show them mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biked to Denmark, hitchhiked to Barcelona, saved a friend from a heartattac without any spanish skills, hitchhiked across Europe, won a trial & danced Bruce Springsteen on stage. Twice.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a teachers kid, I've also have a pedagogic way of explaining things. I like showing (& sharing) people new places, telling stories & just guiding someone to the library.

No expectations is a great skill, but so is communication. Talk about what you would like to do during your surfing time. Both as a host, as well as a guest. Would you like to show the guest around? Or would you like to just leave you guest by the sofa?
