Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My housemate is an avid couchsurfer, so we have had many travelers come and stay with us over the last two years. I myself have never traveled abroad...so I'm really looking forward to being the traveler enjoying local hospitality.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience hosting travelers has been 99% positive. I really have enjoyed sharing my home with travelers, sharing food, drink, conversation and our favorite local places. I truly enjoy being a host. It's super important to have open and honest communication to make sure the needs of the surfer and host are being met.

Interests

I absolutely love nature, the outdoors and mentoring youth. I've been a teacher with a nature-based high school for the last 3 years and it's been an amazing experience. I'm a really active person, I enjoy basically any physical activity, especially outdoor activities: Backpacking, running, frisbee, hiking, yoga...you name it
