About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet and make new friends from far away places.

ABOUT ME

I am the kind of guy who likes to know a little bit about a lot of things in life. I apply myself to those pursuits that excite me, be it technology, music, people, and travel. I hope to see and meet people in all walks of life and enjoy every moment of it. I was born an optimist I believe and love being happy and encouraging whenever I can.

PHILOSOPHY

I think God put us on this earth to enjoy all he created, that being, people and places, and I want to experience as much of both as I can. Plain and simple.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed for about a month all through Western Europe in 2008 and fell in love with CS and the people who make up its amazing community.

I have attended meetings in both Spain (the Madrid group is amazing!) and Italy.

I hope to one day travel far and wide again, but until then hope I can meet other travelers and share with them the beauty and wonder of San Luis Obispo.

I also want to meet others traveling around who want help site seeing or who just want some friendly conversation.

I love to attend random CS gatherings and meetings whenever I can. I think that the true essence of Couch Surfing is found in all the unique people who make a point to meet others, share stories and experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It all started in Madrid back in July of 2008. I had my first CS Group meeting and it just exploded from there. I began to surf around Madrid, and then Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, and Scotland. I have met some of the greatest people and have already made some lifelong friends thanks to CS. CS turned what would have been a fun trip alone into an amazing life changing, life sharing experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Alternative/Indie/Electronica/Power-Pop/Pop-Punk type of music. Love Stephen King books. Anything by Stanley Kubrick or just a good action/comedy/drama.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Iraq. One of the most sad and amazing places I have ever been. It has changed how I view the world and made me appreciate all I have.

Belgium and Scotland. So green, so full of life, so uniquely different. But it was the people I met from those countries that made them seem that much brighter and more alive.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you to play the guitar...
Or how to cook, I love to cook. What do you wanna make?
I could teach you some cool trick to your favorite electronic gizmo.
Or just how to look for that elusive silver lining.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, England, France, Germany, Iraq, Italy, Kuwait, Mexico, Scotland, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
