ABOUT ME

I follow the world closely, but sometimes I just delve in my thoughts and everything slips by...

Getting to know new people has always felt easy for me, I guess I tend to ask a lot about different things (so I've been told) but not in that awkward manner, don't be afraid. All in all, I'm a nice dude with some nice dreams.

Otherwise, I guess I'm a typical educated young adult with thoughts leaning towards existentialism and liberalism.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I get back from my travels I want to pay back the favors and spread the hospitality!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted only friends and friends of friends in the past, so nothing exotic on that side of CouchSurfing.

When travelling I've mostly just stuck to hostels, as my surfing requests have not been answered, sadly. In London I spent one night at a friend who I met while travelling in Poland, so that should count as surfing, right? He wasn't a new acquaintance though, so those are something I'm definitely looking forward to!

Music, movies, arts, culture, cooking, politics, economics, sports...

I'm a predator when it comes to popular culture, all things new pick up my interest. So that's pretty contradictory when looking at my studies - I've been studying history for three years now. But that's what they say, you can't understand the present without knowing the past. It's good knowing how things ended up this way.

I also play football (soccer) and ice hockey with my friends, and watch sports on TV.

I guess I'm a pretty good cook too, so if you're willing to try some Finnish dishes, I could make you some. Vegetarian dishes are in my repertoire too.
