About Me
Hello hello! I grow organic vegetables for a living, and am also very happy to spend my spare time talking (geekily) about all things sustainable farming-related. It's wonderful to have a job that is also my hobby and passion - I'm very lucky.
I like riding bikes, hanging out at the pub, sharing meals with friends, dancing, drawing, looking at nature, playing games, being lazy, telling jokes, talking about the Big stuff, talking about silly stuff...I'm sure you do too! I can get interested in just about anything, especially when someone is passionate about it. I love meeting with new, niche interests that I had never thought about before.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the couchsurfing ethos - now more than ever, I'm glad there are places where we can reach into each others' worlds, share, talk, be welcomed...I think it's just great! I haven't used the site much for quite a few years now, but I now have a stable, spacious home and felt it's high time I got back into it.
I've had some lovely experiences of hosting and surfing, and I was part of a pretty active meet-up scene in Leicester for a while as well. When I first came to Leicester I didn't know anybody. I couchsurfed for nearly two weeks, and my lovely hosts are still dear friends today - that was back in 2007!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went snow-holing in Norway. We climbed up the mountain and dug caves in the snow where we slept for the night. It was very cold, and very beautiful.
