ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Guido, 22 years old and I'm studying a mixture between surveying and business economis in Oldenburg.
Oldenburg is the only city in Germany with this course of studies.
Oldenburg is ok but I don't love it. It is a little small and boring for someone who lived and worked in a city like Cologne for all his life. So I go back to my parents in Cologne as much as it is possible, that means every few weekends and during vacations, for sure.

Before I started the studying in Setember2011 I worked in Cologne as a surfeying technical.

PHILOSOPHY

So make the best of this test,
and don't ask why.
It's not a question,
but a lesson learned in time.

It's something unpredictable
but in the end is right.

I haven't use it before but I want to start right now! With surfing but also with hosting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don`t have any experiences with CS yet but I hope I`ll make any in the near future.

Interests

I have many different hobbies.
I do many sports, exspecially Judo(for nearly16years).
I`m interested in football and I went to nearly every home game of my local club, the 1.FC Köln, with friends before I moved to Oldenburg.After the game we made some party in Cologne(or not when the FC loses to high)
I`m very interested in traveling in other countries. Normally I sleep in hostels but recently I have hear about CS, so why not? I like it to talk with people from different countries in the hostel and backpackertourists.They have the best tips for Sightseeing(cause they aren`t real mainstream tourists) and it`s interesting to learn something about the different cultures.

Till i moved into my flat hwere I live now, I lived for a time in a student dormitory with many other students and students from foreigns countries who stayed in Oldenburg for there abroad year. It was amasing to talk and life with them.

Since I`m 18 years old I have travelled a few times with low coast airlines and only with backpacker for a few days. Sometimes with my sister, sometimes with friends and a few times alone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. Exspecially concerts and big festivals like Rock am Ring. I have been to about 60 concerts yet.
Most of them were Alternative/Indie/Punkrock.

But I also like to go to disco and hearing electronical or hear some German music.

I love to read books, exspecially thrillers and fantasy. My favourite series is The Dark Tower, written by Steven King and I love travel-literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In July 2010 I travelled with Interrail and only a backpacker through Norway for nearly3weeks. I slept in hostels or in the night train because I spent a lot of time in trains, cause I travelld from Stockholm to the north cape and then to the southern regions in Norway.
It was so exciting, it was unbelieveable!
