About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to enjoy all aspects of life even those i would not normally find joy in.

ABOUT ME

Oh geez, I like the outdoors, by this i mean, snow skiing (my favorite), biking, riding 110 cc dirtbikes up in the hills, camping, rock climbing, backpacking, riding 4 wheelers, and big dirtbike (yz250f). I try to chill as much as possible, and I am generally most concerned with what I want to do. That is bad huh. I just kind of like to have fun and try not to take life to serious. I like to learn, especially stuff I have never tried before, although I may need some persuasion at some things.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life because I have a dream and I want to fulfill that dream. When we are young we are told we can be whatever we want when we grow up, but then somehow people present themselves with obstacles instead of solutions, in attempting to achieve our dreams. And luckily we are surrounded by people that confirm our obstacles as being insurmountable that we give up on our dreams. That's basically it, if you want to know my dream you better at least buy me a drink first.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just found out about this from a friend and I thought it was a great, when I lived in Germany they have mitfahrgelegenheiten, Were you can carpool across the country. I met some cool people and it is cheaper and quicker than train. I think couch surfer is going to be a great way to meet new people and travel even more cause it'll be cheaper.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got to stay with someone I had never met before in Rome and she was so helpful she wrote out some common Italian phrases and told me of some hot spots to check out, also we went to a great restaurant that I would have never known of. Also I have stayed in Paris with a friend of a friend also great to have a local tell you what to see and how to get around.

Interests

I really like psychology (my major), I like learning about how to understand others. Because it is nearly impossible. But almost always necessary. I like to learn about government and politics but it is generally to find fault. Although I have not lost hope that they(politicians) can do something good. It may happen by accident but at least some good will be done.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bonded with 3 little chipmonks backpacking in the wilderness. I gave them some granola bar because one of them almost reached in my pocket for the bar, while I was reading. So I put down the book and slowly but surely I was able to feed all three chipmonks out of my hand. They even climbed on my feet and I was able to pick them up in the palms of my hands. One was fat and the other two skinny smaller ones were very quick and jumpy but they were so cute.
