One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 17 I went to New York for 45 days on my own to learn English.
I have lived in Northern Ireland for 5 months doing an Erasmus.
I have been on a road trip around Ireland.
I have visited Greece three times in my life where I could swim in amazing blue water.
I have participated in a workcamp for a month in France where I met the most wonderful people ever in the most amazing place.
I have been captain of a female soccer team for four years.
I have decided to quit my job, my boyfriend, my passion (soccer) and everything to make my dreams come true.
I volunteered in a small balinese village, Tianyar, where I have met the most inspiring and happy people in the whole world.
I taught English in chaotic Hanoi, Vietnam, for a month where I visited Sapa, Ha long bay, Cat ba island...amazing nature wonders!
I spent a week in Taipei, Taiwan, with some friends where I tried the most unbelievable food to eat.
I spent a week in Tokyo, Japan, where I laughed as I never did in my life and I experienced the beauty of the place and the education and kindness of its people.
I went on the trip of my dreams to the USA where I backpacked for a month and had my first couchsurfing experiences as a guest. I had the oportunity to visit Disney in Orlando, touch an alligator and party in Miami, gamble and win in Vegas, go on a great jeep trip to Gran Canyon with another couchsurfer, stay in Hollywood, see the great views from Santa Barbara mountains, have a bonfire and eat smores for the first time on the beach, go to Yosemite for two days and see seals in San Diego, but the most important was meeting great new people and also sharing time with my friends.
I spent a night in the Sahara desert and did a road trip around Morocco where I spent some time with cool couchsurfers.
I travelled for a month around Brazil, from Rio de Janerio to Salvador de Bahía and back to Rio. The long bus rides and the hot summer weather were definetly worthy and we met increadible people on the way.
