ABOUT ME

I'm a very passionate person, sensitive, and very curious. I'm an IT engineer, project manager for a stock broker company in Paris where I feel like a traitor to my anti-capitalistic belief, but my job is actually only a mean to earn my crust.

I'm still loking for something that would suit my many sides better and be in line with my inner values.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the concept and the fact that it is actualy real.

Interests

Discovering our world is a source of inspiration for me, as well as a food for my soul. Traveling is very important to me, meeting people, discovering new cultures, or even a tree I had never seen before. I love nature, hiking, treking, but I enjoy big cities too.

Inspiration also comes from art, and I love books and movies a lot.

I'm interested in philosophy and politics, and ways to make the world better.
Permaculture (or agroecology), nutrition, Yoga,... I love cooking and have a great interest in healthy food and alternative medecine.

Finaly sports, I'm a runner (I finished the Paris marathon in 3h44 and lots of half-marathon). Now I'm more into trails and barefoot running. I love skiing although I havn't been to the mountain for a while.
I'm a diver too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a week at the Fresh Air Fund's Camp Mariah in upstate NY to help kids from the bronx in a career awareness program.
I witnessed some tibetan monks chanting in a old monastery and that gave me some tears.
I've been rescued by a poor but heartful indonesian family in Flores after having been caught in HEAVY rain and the night.
After a huge misunderstanding, we have been thought to be kidnaped by the FARCS (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) in Ecuador and the French Prime minister was woken up at night to be informed of the situation. We ended up at the French embassy in Quito for debreifing.

I visited 34 countries, ran the Paris marathon in 3h44mn, dived in Thaïlande and Bali and bungee jumped.
