About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life... through travelling, meeting people...
ABOUT ME
I'm a welcoming, friendly fellow who enjoys travelling, helping others (I'm a volunteer at the CS Lewis Nature Reserve) and who tries to live life to the max (in moderation!). I enjoy a good drink, particularly good red wines, good food (albeit vegetarian) and like spending time in my garden. I'm not religious. I am more of an introvert than an extrovert.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't really have a personal philosophy - people change throughout their lives - and their philosophies change.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Shawshank, Watership Down, most Jimmy Stewart & Sigourney films,
Most music, esp. rock. E.g. Metallica, Eric Clapton, Chopin & Tchaikovsky.
Books, I'm a fan of sci-fi especially and, well, any decent fiction. E.g. Robert Heinlein, Asimov & Arthur C. Clarke. Other fiction: Steinbeck, Orwell, E.B White, Nabokov, Anthony Burgess. Non-fiction includes neuroscience & philosophy, history, ecology, politics, and evolutionary biology - Dawkins is my God.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sunrise over the Himalayas at Tiger Hill, Darjeeling, India.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, since I'm not actually from Oxford but have made it my home (I own a house here) I feel that I'm a good person to share knowledge with. Oh, and I've drank at most of Oxford pubs.
