I love weather. I prefer it over the not-weather you get inside. I generally sleep better on the ground than I do in a bed. However, when in an unfamiliar city or middle of winter, sleeping outdoors is not particularly comfortable, so here I am! I'm working on getting this profile filled out since it's been a loooooong time since I was last at all active in the couchsurfing community, but I want to get back into it because meeting people is awesome. I'm an open person, so please feel free to ask whatever you want to know.

If you like the outdoors, fantasy/sci-fi, board games, or travel, we will probably get along swimmingly. Even more so if you know a convenient pool in a river where we can go swimming and cliff jumping!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel, and meeting people is the best part. I'm often just on my own, but it's far more fun to spend time with people. Plus, I prefer to get to know places through locals, and hopefully we're able to do something while I'm in town.

Interests

I prefer to be outside. I love living in big cities, but I will take wilderness over city most any day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hoboed my way across England and Scotland for two weeks. I camped everywhere I went, which led to sleeping under the trees in Sherwood Forest and camping through a storm on the Isle of Skye—where I'm fairly certain I heard an orc... I was busy hiding from it, so I can't give visual confirmation, but that was no human voice!)

Yosemite will forever be my favorite place.
