Music, Movies, and Books
It’s a bit complicated to explain, but I have a really wide taste across genres. At the top of my list is always classical, but when it comes to music, I’m open to a variety of styles—from different branches of rock and pop to even lyrical pop/rap. Occasionally, I enjoy something darker and more intense, though that’s pretty rare.
For films, I tend to gravitate toward fantasy, psychological dramas, or even lighthearted action movies that are just plain fun. As for books, I’m a huge fan of fantasy, science fiction, and dystopian literature.
I see reality as a vibrant and multifaceted space, full of endless possibilities to explore and enjoy. Different types of art—each with their own unique charm—allow us to connect with this richness in ways that are both meaningful and inspiring.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
From the moment I was born, life has been an adventure.
As the eldest child, I took on responsibility for my younger sister from the age of ten (she was five). I managed the household, prepared meals, and ensured we navigated daily life together. We rode city transport to and from school on our own, and I helped oversee her homework to make sure everything was in order.
As a teenager, I explored deep caves, immersing myself in the mysteries of the underground. Many times, I camped in the wild along the Black Sea coast, completely off the grid and without modern comforts. I even crossed the border between Russia and Georgia on a bicycle.
My musical journey has taken me to numerous cities across Russia and Europe, where I’ve performed as both a soloist and an orchestral flutist. Along the way, I’ve experienced diverse cultures, visited incredible places, and connected with people from all walks of life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you some words or phrases in Russian, Ukrainian, or Georgian, and I’d be happy to show you how to play the flute! I can also teach you how to prepare some Ukrainian dishes or bake bread. On top of that, I have some handy skills in renovation, including plumbing, electrical work, concrete projects, and working with drywall. I’m also familiar with gardening and planting, so if you’re interested, I’d be happy to share some tips or stories about that too. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’d be delighted to share my experience of living in this small and beautiful city. I know some great local restaurants and hidden gems with amazing wine. I’d love to show you the beauty of the city and recommend must-visit spots all around Kakheti!
As someone who lives with my mother and sister and sleeps in the living room, I can’t always promise to provide a place to stay. However, if I know about your visit well in advance and have their approval, I’d be more than happy to host you!
