About Me

CURRENT MISSION

help to create a new ecologically sustainable order of our world

ABOUT ME

I am a Hungarian tourist guide and I work as a freelancer at Budapest.
I love being in the nature and I want to live in a self-producing community with my friends in a few years time.
I have a little land next to Budapest and I plan to move there permanently in 2 years time, summertime you can even stay there with me. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only positive experiences, I have met some really nice people, and both hosting and surfing are interesting for me. In some of the bigger cities it is not easy to find hosts to stay at, sometimes in the suburbs it seems to be less complicated.

Interests

I ride all year long my bicycle, I love to be on the road- I usually travel by bike for short distances, but for longer journeys hitchhiking is the perfect way of travelling for me (in Europe).
I am interested in international and domestic social and political problems and the situation of minorities (mostly gypsies).
I love art and architecture in general, mainly art-nouveau and early 20th century and contemporary and ancient art, I write novels and short-stories and tales and we make short films together with my friends based on my screeplays sometimes.
When I have enough time for it, i make craftworks as well. I love creative activities!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, and I've read a lot of hungarian an cheque novelists'.
So I just write here a few well-known writers that I like : Karel Capek- a Czech writer, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Bulgakov, dramas of Chekhov, Bohumil Hrabal.

films:The Hero, C.R.A.Z.Y., Moonrise kingdom, Donnie Darko, The gypsies camp goes to the sky, Gadjo Dilo, Bin Jip, Spring-Summer-Fall-Winter...and Spring, Planet Terror, Scarface, Bitter Moon, Jeux d'enfant, Godfather, films of Jirí Menzel, Fellini, Tarkovskij, and I really love Pedro Almodovar, especially his old movies.
I like a lot of old and/or not mainstream hungarian films- for ex.: early works of Jancsó Miklós.
series: I really like Game of Thrones, True Detective, 6 feet under, Bones, Fringe, Outer Limits, Twin Peaks, Archer, Soutch Park, The Wire

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived 5 years ago for a few months in a self-producing community in north of Italy, called Valle degli Elfi- the Valley of the Elves. So I worked with cows and we produced everything (food, wood for heating, etc) by ourselves.
I travelled a lot by hitchhiking and playing street music.
Sometimes my life is like a tale but it would be long to tell here so you should come to visit me if you are interested in it or host me :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I recognise some edible mushrooms and herbs that we can collect together in the woods if you are interested in, I know which one is good for which illness, I make cream or herbal tea by using these herbs.
I am a tourist guide so I know very well my country and I can show you the non-touristy parts of it as well.
I can tell you about the architecture, culture and history in Central Europe, especially in Hungary.
And I love movies- to watch, discuss and to make also :)
And I love cooking- so I can teach you how to make hungarian dishes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My room and kitchen and bathroom and my knowledge about Hungary and Budapest.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
