About Me
CURRENT MISSION
let go of my grounding and live in the moment
ABOUT ME
CA bay area native, recently seen sailing a steel cutter down the coast to Mexico, after learning the ropes (or lines, rather) in the Caribbean. I believe you shouldn't let school get in the way of your education, and took a year and a half to travel throughout SE Asia before coming back to finish my degree in International Relations at UC Santa Barbara. I'm laid back, independent, and loyal to my friends. Jewish by heritage but don't practice much. I cook every day, love being outside, in the sun, reading books, and listening to stories. I'm interested in living off the grid, human consciousness, counterculture, and living sustainably.
PHILOSOPHY
Even chance meetings are the result of karma
live and let live
life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.
Listen to the quietest whispers of your mind. They are telling you the choices that will help you the most.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been able to host in my apartment in Bangkok and also in Santa Barbara. While living in SEA I also surfed in a lot of countries... Couchsurfing blows me away, I think it is such a great community resource, and I plan to be a lifelong member in the Couchsurfing crew!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been so lucky to Couchsurf in several Malaysian cities... Penang was the first stop where I stayed with a quick witted Australian couple and their two smart children, then Langkawi where I was able to surf twice with such a gentleman who took me around and showed me how to party duty free style, then Kuala Lumpur where I was able to meet several different CSers staying in different parts of the huge capital, Kuching was my other surfing stop where the most rambunctious lady picked me up from the airport and took me touring around her city the day I arrived! These were some of my first experiences surfing : )
I love every new experience and even though I consider myself introverted I value getting to know other people and enjoy exploring new places : )
