Overview
About Me
I just finished my first year working as a labor and delivery nurse. I moved to Southern California a year and a half ago, after living many different places, and am enjoying the sun and beautiful beaches here. My schedule is flexible, and my travel bug makes it hard to stay in one place long!
My family and friends would describe me as smart, organized, bubbly, and an adventurer. I love traveling when I can, whether it be for camping trips, to visit family, or to visit friends from college. The world is a beautiful place and I love the excitement of going someplace new!
PHILOSOPHY
Take advantage of opportunities, explore, meet new people, be considerate, smile and laugh!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I heard about CS from some friends who became part of the group and loved it. I think the best way to travel is to meet people from each city and see it through their eyes. It is very rewarding to be that person who can show a newcomer the nice places to eat, the fun places to go, and the little spots that aren´t always in the tourist books. Right now I don´t have a couch to offer (on the road!), but I would love to share my experiences and knowledge of the places I´ve been and know!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first heard of CS when I studied abroad in college. I thought it was a fabulous idea, but it was never able to experience it myself during that time.
Since then I have opened up my house to strangers (friends of acquaintances) and loved the experience, and finally had my first surfing experience this spring!

Music, Movies, and Books
I could spend all day in a bookstore. My interests range from books like Freakonomics to the Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) series.
I love listening to new music, or putting my current favorite on repeat while I do work. I listen to a little bit of everything, it just depends on my mood. The only exceptions are metal and rap.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One? I see something amazing every day and take joy in the little things in life :)
