About Me

CURRENT MISSION

...to love the hell out of this world...

ABOUT ME

I'm currently rocking the young-professional-working 8:00-5:00-lifestyle. In 2008-2009 I lived in South Korea teaching English. After that I traveled around Australia for a couple of months. This Spring I'll be visiting Iceland. I've lived in a handful of places but Zion, IL will always be my "hometown". I love being here in Milwaukee. It's a fabulous city with so much to keep a person busy. I like to frequent summer festivals, local coffee shops, live music at random bars, etc, etc. I spend a lot of time outside hanging around the lake. I read a lot, cook a lot, love to entertain people, and really love couchsurfing.org!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we are given this life to live wildly. I believe that we are supposed to be responsible with our dreams. I believe that I can change the world. I believe that love changes lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted some pretty awesome people over the past few years. I haven't yet had the opportunity to be a couchsurfing guest but it's high on my list of things to do!

Interests

Oh, a little of this and a little of that. I love camping, hiking, bike riding, taking my dog for walks...and I like knitting, reading good books, and sleeping late once in a while. Some of my favorite moments are spent in intricate discussion about life. I love spending time with people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Alaska I helped haul in a 150 pound halibut. I thought we were going to fall into the water!

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy the art of hospitality and believe that the simplest thoughts can change the day. I also enjoy sharing the treasures that I have discovered from hidden trails to bargain markets.
I would like to learn about other cultures and traditions. I always enjoy participating in events and am honored to peek into another person's world.
