One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I applied for a working holiday visa to head to Australia. I spent 7 months working and traveling and this journey developed my adaptability and imagination. I earned my own living and broadened my view through this cross cultural experience. I am sure I am capable of living overseas independently.
I am someone who likes challenge. I won a triathlon medal so I became one of the “iron men” which means you can swim, cycle and jog for 50kms within 3.5 hours. I couldn’t swim before I started this type of competition. Moreover, I am proud of cycling around Taiwan within 9 days. I rode over 100kms per day. I even wanted to give up half way because it was really demanding for me. When I was in Spain, I even finished “Camino de Santiago”, which is the famous pilgrimage in the world. I walked 120 kilometers to arrive the final destination: Santiago. From these achievements, I found that no one knows their own potential unless you challenge yourself. I proved that I am a strong, determined person.
