About Me

----------------------------------------------------

GUESTS PLEASE READ: due to my location I'm requested continuously, multiple times a week and I'm quite selective when it comes to guests, sorry. I require experienced CS'ler and verified profiles, photos, references. If you have been host yourself this improves your chances greatly. If you are a single man you should give a double good impression: my home is located near the Cologne party zone ("die Ringe") AND the gay party area and I'm not a cheap party hostel. This is especially true if the request comes from Germany. ICH BIN KEIN PARTYHOTEL FÜR DIE RINGE. JUNGE SINGLEMÄNNER OHNE AUSSAGEKRÄFTIGES PROFIL UND OHNE SELBER HOST GEWESEN ZU SEIN: KEINE CHANCE.

Cheap hostel in 5m walking distance: http://www.aohostels.com/de/koeln/
Accomondations can there be found for as low as 9€ a night, and the hostel is only 2 years old.

You want to stay in a REALLY COOL hostel? Go to Bonn (which is around 30m from Cologne) into the BaseCamp Bonn: http://www.basecamp-bonn.de/

CURRENT MISSION

getting rid of "beeing-a-hero" mindset

ABOUT ME

I'm open minded and open hearted. IT-guy with strong paths into business. Strong interests and knowledge in psychology (making family constellations and such).

I love to dance (both disco as well as Salsa). I love to have deep conversations about life, the universe and 42.

I don't have enough time to follow all my ideas, dreams and interests. I'm working on too many projects at the same time.

I'm growing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Happily beeing host, happy to meet people from all places of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did more hosting than actually surfing and I enjoy it thouroughly. My surfers usally go through the experience of a Singstar Karaoke evening combined with some nice BBQ on the roof terrace. I also enjoy surfing and meeting new people and already made some long term friends here.

Interests

Psychology, IT architecture, software agent systems, organisational and personal growth, Luhmann, sociology, economic sciences, business simulations, 3D, Madeira, learning Portuguese, Python, Dancing, Salsa, Traveling, family constellations, creating new ideas and products, the future, the past and the now. TAO. Material arts. NLP. Provocative therapy. Help, I can't stop....

Latest addition: 2d animation with MOHO/Anime Studio pro, recording online course videos and building websites...

I'm also in vegetarian/vegan food, TCM, 5 elements cooking, Ayurveda treatments (did 2 Ayurveda trips to Sri Lanka)... And I started kickboxing lately ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

The alchemist (Paolo Coelho), Python-in-a-nutshell, The Sten Chronicles, Dune, other sci-fi-stuff, books of Virgina Satir, Milton Ericson, Irvin D. Yalom

Rock music (Metallica, Nirvana and such). Latin music. Vibrant pop music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the clear night sky the first time in full width after getting my eyes lasered (LASIK).

Skydiving with my dad (he was 75 at that time) in USA...

Helping people to overcome their inner restrictions, and to see them grow. A simple "thank you" can be more rewarding than any money one can earn.

Teach, Learn, Share

Deep knowledge about IT and business in any kind.

Lots of personal and heavy experiences which made me grow.

Therapeutical and coaching experience.

Anything you need to know about Madeira.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of stories... Deep knowledge about IT and business, beeing self-employed for over 30 years (I started with 16 and I've never worked as an employee), psychology/family constellations (did learn this over 6 years), funny stories of surfers which I hosted...

I'm an extremly good problem solver...

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Italy, Mauritius, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sri Lanka, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
