CURRENT MISSION:

First of all I want to travel..I want to see the world, I want to be amazed, I want to see wonderful things. I want to meet different people with different point of view, to enjoy life,sharing feelings and laughs!

ABOUT ME:

I'm a dreamer, I always let my imagination wander, I like to think about my future even if I have no idea of what is in store for me. I'm a chatty one, I really like to talk and i'm pretty good at that! ;) I'm a good listener too, I guess. I'm curious, I like to ask question, but i'm not a meddler! I'm positive, try to be at least.. most of the time to me the glass is half full (better if with a good red wine :p ). I'm easy going and down to heart, anyway that's what most of the people say about me and I like to think that is true.
I love the sea. always, for all the feelings that it induces.

PHILOSOPHY: (I'll borrow one of my favorite monologues from a good movie, the big Kahuna)

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Oh, never mind. You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded. But trust me, in 20 years you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. You are NOT as fat as you imagine.

Don't worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4 pm on some idle Tuesday. Do one thing every day that scares you. Sing. Don't be reckless with other people's hearts, don't put up with people who are reckless with yours. Floss. Don't waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind. The race is long, and in the end, it's only with yourself. Remember compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you succeed in doing this, tell me how.

Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements. Stretch. Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. The most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives. Some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don't. Get plenty of calcium. Be kind to your knees, you'll miss them when they're gone.

Maybe you'll marry, maybe you won't, maybe you'll have children, maybe you won't, maybe you'll divorce at 40, maybe you'll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary. Whatever you do, don't congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself, either. Your choices are half chance, so are everybody else's. Enjoy your body, use it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it, or what other people think of it. It's the greatest instrument you'll ever own.

Dance. Even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room. Read the directions, even if you don't follow them. Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.

Get to know your parents, you never know when they'll be gone for good. Be nice to your siblings. They are your best link to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.

Understand that friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography in lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young. Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard. Live in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft. Travel.

Don't mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will look 85. Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth. But trust me on the sunscreen.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:

A friend of mine introduced me in CS back in 2011. When I went to Finland to visit her we "used" CS to travel and we were hosted a couple of time and I found this experience amazing!
is such an intelligent thing! you have the chance to see a place with a local person and to come in contact with other people from other part of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:

I used CS the first time when i was in Finland with a friend of mine (2010/11?!) and after that all the time that I travel I try to use cs as much as possible...it's such a smart and cool way to meet people!
I really enjoy it!
I also hosted when i was in Istanbul and here in Brescia and it was really cool!!

Interests

I like stories.
people's stories and travel's stories. as I wrote before i'm curious..i like discover new places, new cultures..
I love food, like- truly love. And no, not just Italian, I'm a big fan of oriental cuisine and always happy to try different recipes.
I like art..every kind and manifestation of it, I particularly enjoy theatre, photography, live music and dance; but I'm always ready to see something new and/or different.
I love nature (sea and mountains, but especially the sea). Into yoga lately, I'd like to get better at it.
i'm not an avid reader actually but if i found the right book i can spend all my time reading!
i like watching movies,walking(especially long walks on the beach) and i swimming (of course, in the sea!) last thing: i love dancing (even in my sitting room! :p ) and actually I don't really care about how and where.. if i heard a music that i like, i just want to dance!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, thank God for Music! what do I like? I like a bit of everything really.. it really depends on my mood... normally whatever has a good rhythm I consider it "listenable", Reggae is always a yes for me. I also really like different kinds of mixed/experimental music...from electro swing to downtempo, experimental jazz a lot indie rock and folk .

Movies: just as with music I like a lot of very different stuff: Truman Show, A Clockwork Orange, La Vita e' Bella, Fight Club, Carnage, Annie Hall, Match Point (almost every movie from Woody Allen really), V per Vendetta, Someone Likes it Hot, Psycho, Being John Malkovich, Persepolis, Death Becomes Her ..

Books : the book I read at least 3 times is "Le petit prince" (the little prince)by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, hint hint- I have a tattoo about it. And, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, The Old Man and the Sea.
other books that I like are usually about people's life or people's travel.
Lately: Orhan Pamuk, Tahar Ben Jelloun, Paulo Coelho, Marjane Satrapi, Camus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchiking in Turkey, doing a Safari in Africa, Teaching in Morocco during the Ramadan, Getting faked married in Morocco (still during the Ramadan), Scubadiving in the Great Barrier Reef, Having road trips through Australia, booking a flight to Singapore just because it was the cheapest destination to go, Doing motocross in the Bush in the middle of Queensland managing not to get hurt but getting hurt with a scooter crash in Thailand. Looking at the stars from a boat in the middle of the ocean; celebrating New years Eve in a boat in the Bosphorus between Europe and Middle East.
Watching Ireland beating Italy during the euro cup 2016 (that was not amazing, just really,really fun!) ;)

be open minded. Try everyting (of course on limits),amazed yourself,fall in love (is always worth the effort).
eat healty food, but also tasty food!

other than that, I can teach you a bit cooking I guess and a tiny bit of yoga (?)
