About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've been trying to figure out what to put here for years...

ABOUT ME

I've been living in Pittsburgh for about 8 years now, originally from Philadelphia. I am planning to move back to the Philly area at some point next year, but for now I'm just trying to enjoy my time in this wonderful town! I sell craft beer for a living and I truly think I have the greatest job in the world. I spend a lot of my down time reading, playing tennis, practicing yoga, and dreaming about traveling more.

PHILOSOPHY

“When a problem or a difficult situation arises, say to yourself, as if you already believe it: "This is for my benefit.” -Chris Prentiss

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the great fortune of not only hosting some awesome travelers, but staying with some as well. I don't want to single any one of the experiences out, just because they were all so special to me for different reasons. This is such a wonderful community of people, and such a great way to broaden your horizons.

Interests

Craft beer, Radiohead, film, the Paleo diet, makeup, traveling, Pennsylvania, rock climbing, working too much, animals, cooking, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Recently, Tame Impala, Alt-J, Radiohead, Jack White, Lana del Rey
Movies: I like pretty much anything David Fincher does, and I love Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Requiem for a Dream, oh, and like every 20-something girl, I love Mean Girls and Clueless
Books: My favorite book of all time is Lolita and I've probably read it about 20 times in my life. Other than that, I mostly read non-fiction and books about beer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Radiohead at Bonnaroo 2012 (I might have also been on some mind-altering substances). One of the most magical moments of my life, certainly the greatest musical one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will talk your ear off about all types of beer; my knowledge knows no bounds when it comes to my favorite thing in the world :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make you laugh, and I can bring you some delicious Pittsburgh based beer and food if you'd like. I'm more than happy to lend a hand with chores!
