ABOUT ME

I love life and love traveling. Spontaneity is the spice of life because when you make plans you usually end up disappointed. Live life simply and let it come to you :)

After spending many years in university and graduate studies trying to understand culture, history and language, I have decided to head out into the world and experience it for myself. I have recently lived in Mexico, Belize, and Taiwan but still travel at every opportunity. Travel, change, and uncertainty excite me and I am always up for an adventure. Sometimes you just know what you want and have to go for it, because if we live in fear of the unknown you will miss out on the richness of life.

PHILOSOPHY

Each day is a new opportunity...to learn something new, experience things you've only dreamed about, and meet people you'll never forget. If you sit back and watch, paralyzed by fear, you'll never know what life changing moment you may have missed.

I have met many wonderful people thanks to this website :) Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to host as much as I'd like since I have been traveling for almost 4 years now.

I have settled on many people's couches and hosted a few surfers as well. I am hoping to expand my couchsurfing experience and meet new people.

I've driven from one side of the US to the other, worked and played for a 5 star hotel chain, moved to Central America to follow my dream of archaeology, and trekked Europe before coming to Asia to teach. Yet the most amazing thing I've ever seen is the simple kindness of strangers.
