I’d like to live in a society that values the ways we can help each other make our lives more wonderful over how much money we can give someone to achieve externally defined success. I see CouchSurfing, along with setting up and running communal resource collections (tool libraries and MakerSpaces) as part of making the world I would like to live in a reality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I celebrated my Highschool friend’s thirtieth birthday in her hometown of Khon Kaen, Thailand last January by helping her raise money, buying and delivering non perishable goods for the children and staff at Saint Mary’s Orphanage.
