I grew up in San Jose, CA and finishing up a Masters in water resources engineering at UC Davis. I'm an avid beer brewer, rock climber, soccer player, and like to play pick up ultimate frisbee every now and then. When I'm not doing schoolwork or research, I try to spend my time outdoors. Nice weekends include going on a hike, backpacking, or road-trips to some sweet climbing. Regardless of what I do, enjoying the company of others is first and foremost to me.

I like a lot of different kinds of music. Some of my favorite bands are The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, LCD Soundsystem, Animal Collective, The Beach Boys, and Girls.

A lot of movies. I like almost every film by the Coen Brothers and Almodovar.

I enjoy The Savage Detectives, Infinite Jest, The Things They Carried, East of Eden, Catch-22, White Noise and The Monkey Wrench Gang.
