About Me
As a passionate traveler, I always have some plans in my mind, and whenever I find a chance, I realize it. The reason why I made a career change (quit teaching at a school and became a flight attendant) after 37 years old was to live a life full of travels and action.
I like hosting people and even showing around if we have time. Individualized messages and request are more sincere. I am not into copy-paste requests. Details and a password are in 'home' section. I suggest reading details about our place and check it on the map as I live nearly 30 km off the city center. But using transportation, easy to reach.
When it comes to introduce myself, Everybody calls me SMILE as I do it most of the time :) after constant travels in my interrail tour in Europe and Balkans and the US for the last years, I m now like a man of wisdom about travelling and will go on travelling more in future. I work as a flight attendant and my schedule can change a lot. That's why I may /may not be suitable when you need it. So, don't hesitate to ask for it ;)
PS: Dear Couchsurfers of istanbul! I ve just moved into a new flat in Bahçeşehir, istanbul and I am ready to host people ;) Welcome :)
IMPORTANT : my place is about 35 km off Taksim Square, the center of istanbul. It takes nearly 75-90 minutes to get to central parts using a bus. The guests should use public transport with transfers. I can walk around the city with surfers when I am not working. My flat is non-smoking area. I am a real fan of CS project which means CS isn't just having a free place but having the CS spirit inside ;) I wanna have surfers who are aware of that fact.
Btw as there are many requests for istanbul, I want the possible surfers to be reading the details here and agree the terms. please include
the password
"Karakartal"
in your requests, otherwise I will have to decline. lets get it started ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
when I was a teacher in van, a south-eastern city near the iranian border of turkey, I met a guy in the same building. he told me about the CS project and he introduced me the United Nations in his flat :)) there were nearly 7 CS surfers from 5 different nationalities :)) it was really good and I started hosting people and revive the CS spirit...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted many people in the city Van, and my hometown kayseri. After all I used Couchsurfing in my Interrail Tour 2012. It was about 34 days and I surfed many people and made many new friends
