About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I don't know, but I'm trying to find out.

ABOUT ME

I'm sort of a serious person who doesn't take anything too seriously to let it knock me off balance. I spend a lot of time walking around and thinking about life and one's place in it. Largely marveling over how utterly awesome, complex, beautiful, and yet simple the world (people, their interactions with other people or their physical environments, or their bodies) is, but then also struggling to want to change certain elements of our global and local society of which i don't want to live in (some of it boils down to what loosely might be call "human rights violations" (racism, imperialism...), but also extends to the widespread alienation that distances each of us from one another.

But despite all that, i do laugh... a lot. If not with the behavior of others, at myself.

I have a love-hate relationship with art, fashion, beauty, thinking, most things.

I like the feeling of streamlining but not stagnation. I pull when there are opportunities, but don't push at walls.

I appreciate relaxation, play, and being silly, but not wasting time. I appreciate feelings, but not hubris and callous irrationality.

I strive to live (accept the past, move onto the future insofar as it relatively situates me in the present, overcome fears, follow-through with desires, make mistakes without feeling weak, love essentially and unrelentlessly, and-most importantly- dance unapologetically)
